The historic Bell Hill Meetinghouse in Otisfield hosts T-Acadie, a folk trio and dance band from Maine playing and singing French Canadian, Maine and New England old time songs, Cajun, Sea shanteys, and original tunes  ranging from sizzling jigs and reels to sweet waltzes and aires.  Pam Weeks, Jim Joseph and Bill Olson have been playing and singing together for over 20 years, at first primarily for contradances.  They quickly discovered their mutual love of French Canadian and old time Southern dance tunes and singing in three part harmony and soon T-Acadie was born.  Pam, Jim and Bill are  all multi-instrumentalists on fiddle, bass, guitar, cello, mandolin, banjo, button accordian and others.  Pam is well known as one of the country's premier mountain dulcimer players and teachers.  Their CD "T-Acadie By the Sea" was released in 2010.The Bell Hill Meetinghouse Association was formed to protect and maintain the 1839 Meetinghouse and the neighboring one room Schoolhouse on Bell Hill Road off Route 121 in Otisfield. Both structures are on the National Register of Historic Places.  All concert proceeds benefit the building maintenence and restoration fund. Refreshments available at intermission.
