There will be live Cajun music by Pam, Bill, and Keith from Jimmy Jo and the Jumbol'ayuhs, Mardi Gras mask-making, regional foods to sample, and children's parades through the museum led by Albert The Costumed Alligator. Each visitor will also receive a strand of colorful Mardi Gras beads to wear and take home. Thanks to underwriting from TD Banknorth, all performances and activities are included with paid admission to the museum, and as always, free for museum members. To give the celebration a truly authentic flavor, visitors are invited to get a taste of New Orleans with hot, homemade jambalaya, served up with tangy lemon bread generously provided by Seacoast specialty food purveyor The Lollipop Tree.
